Digital Synopsis has finally been migrated onto the upgraded servers. It's got a lot more features and it's much, much more secure. So that should mean less to no hacker attempts from amateur hackers. It also means there will be much more potential to use different programs.

I'd like to note that I'm aware that there were broken images all over the gallery, but here's why; When I backed up the gallery, I thought the program would've backed up the images too. Apparently... It didn't. So I had to re-upload everything. If you see any broken images or links anywhere on the site, it would be very much appreciated if you notified me. :)

Hopefully I can sort this mess for once and all as soon as possible!

Upgrading Server, Downtime Expected

DigitalSynopsis.NET will be upgrading to a new server with newer versions of mySQL and PHP, which will mean more security and more ability to install different programs. I don't know how long this will take, but I'm gonna guesstimate about a week to two, depending if everything goes without trouble and how long will it take for the DNS to propagate. So, expect some downtime over the next few weeks. After that, there's probably going to be a lot of tweaking due to newer version of PHP.

Here's hoping things will work fine and dandy.

What the (-)?

I don't know how long it's been like this, but as of a few minutes ago I checked digitalsynopsis.net only to find out that the main page has been hacked. Granted, it was a really cheap hack as everything else was working fine and dandy anyway. So, sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. Hopefully, things should be working fine now.

Seriously, don't those people have anything better to do than doing really cheap hacks? :|

It's A Shiny New Update

Yes, I know that title is highly uncreative. :)

I'm aware there haven't been any posts here in a while. This is due to Blogger's shenanigans with bugging out on the publish option. The previous "test" post was test to see if publishing works. Apparently, turns out the post worked but after posting it, I could never publish anymore. So I waited till that was fixed.

Anyway, I've added a few new things to the website. I have a few more art in the gallery now, FAQs were updated, artist info was updated - and there's a shiny links page. However, the Synopedia is still being worked on. It's there somewhere, but needs a lot of work before it could be finalized. I'm also contemplating adding a blog. No, not the average boring personal babbling blog - More like a blog where I express my own views on certain topics. Something like that. Then again, there's the whole controversy with it - but hey, freedom of speech.

Here's a little hype for all you frequent visitors - I've finally had the motivation to go and start drawing my Digital Warfare comic. If I don't procrastinate, I may get a few conceptual/promo artwork up. :)

Progress Update #3

Been a while since I last posted up an update here, but hey - 4/8 sections are now done! The final four will take some time, but 2 of these final four are being set up right at this moment. Hopefully they'll be completed within the next following weeks or so.

Also, the gallery is fully functional and up right now. It's got a lot more stuff now, so that's something there. :)

Oh yeah, another final note - I'm aware the spacing might look rather whacked up sometimes. I'll get to that and see about it when I can.

Progress Update #2

I know that took way long. Too long.

Anyway, gallery system is finally up and ready. Needs some small tweaking there and there, but the system and the layout is pretty much ready. Some art will be uploaded eventually. : )

Progress Update #1

Got a bit of a better, easier to implement idea for the layout that looks fitting and just good enough as of right now. It still follows the same purple scheme, too.

However, I still have to put the layout into code format. More so, I still have to type out the pages, but once the layout is fully coded, typing out the pages shouldn't take as long. I know it's taking a long while, but it'll be done. Better late than nothing. I expect I might get the whole thing done in the next following one to two weeks. :)

Back After Downtime

After a long downtime for about a whole two months, Digital Synopsis is finally back up and running on a new and much better host, unlike the previous one. This means all the more opportunity to add things I couldn't add before, like the news system that you're reading right now.

However, the whole thing isn't complete as the layout isn't fully coded yet, so for the time being you'll be seeing only just this page. I will be posting updates about the progress as it goes by, and believe me when I say it's going to be very different than it used to be. Keep your eyes peeled.; )

P.S: I'm sure many of you will ask now "Why Purple?". Well, to say the very least the blue look isn't all that satisfactory, not that only, but it's cliché as well. IMO, purple kinda brings the effect I want much better.
